Ex-FATES WARNING Drummer MARK ZONDER Schedules California Clinics
August 30, 2008SLAVIOR/ex-FATES WARNING drummer Mark Zonder has issued the following update:
"The drum clinics are starting to shape up as I have two tentative dates at the present. November 12th at the Sam Ash in Hollywood and November 13th at the Sam Ash in Puente Hills. I have also been invited to do a clinic at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, with a date to follow. I will be playing some music from my past and present as well as diving into some drum topics as well. The clinics are designed for the beginner to the advanced player.
"I have been doing some tracking for Tony Vinci and his band SPEAKING TO STONES. Serious heavy prog-rock stuff. Tony is a very talented, underrated guitar player and composer. I am really enjoying it and find Tony very easy to work with.
"I am accepting other recording projects as well, as I have a good time working on various styles of music. [My MySpace page] is officially up and running and will have all of the clinic dates posted."
SLAVIOR's self-titled debut album was released on April 3, 2007 via Inside Out Music. A versatile, melodic hard rock/metal act, SLAVIOR's debut album features elements familiar to Zonder's progressive metal past, but also introduces a wide array influences including reggae, hip-hop, and modern rock.
